GAMBIA: FREEDOM RADIO HAS BECOME AN UNNECESSARY EVIL

It's NOT enough to be a pioneer. Obviously, how one finishes the race is more important, rewarding than how they start. Pa Nderry Mbai and Freedom Radio have been and are doing more damage to the struggle than good. It hurts me to say this cos I'd gone to war for Pa and his medium a few times in the past. Sadly, Saikou Saidyleigh aka Honest Gambians  is falling into that tattered reputation.

I do NOT care if Pa Nderry, his medium and wingmen support, endorse, criticize or dislike any party. What is sad and disgusting is the concerted time and efforts Pa and his people are putting in, in poisoning the well and destroy any form of harmony, cohesiveness that would take Gambia out of this mess. Nobody could convince me that Pa Nderry is as committed and invested in changing that awful, murderous regime in Banjul as he was few years ago. I BELIEVE, that Pa and his team would want to see this fight prolonged, as long as change isn't coming thru him.

Aji Maimuna Ndure-Darboe is a decent woman. Here's someone who wasn't in the public limelight until she realizes and accepts that the fight that costs her family much more, deserves all hands on deck, supporting her husband, their party and the Gambia. Because she's upright, common sense would dictate that when something disgusting and divisive is associated with her name, one would be prudent and diligent in running with that. The Audio that was purported to have been from Mrs Darboe attacking and insulting Hon. OJ, was not confirmed to be her. No attempts were made to contact her. Disappointingly, NONE OF THEM even referred to the tape as 'alleged'. They bashed the poor, innocent woman, only to come out that it WASN'T HER. No retraction of the story, No apology and they CONTINUE to rerun the silly, malicious program. And Pa is claiming A-list journalist?

People of dishonest character, below par integrity are being the opinion shapers in your discourses. I'd die of shame and embarrassment IF I were ever in their shoes.

               The End.
