#Gambia: CHALLENGE THE UDP. AND THE REST.

The spirit must never die. I mean the spirit to remain firm and resolute in bettering the Gambia. If we do learn one thing, it is that Democracy is both expensive and frustrating but we can only perfect it by indulging in effective, efficient politics anchored on building and fostering consensus on enterprises that serve the general good of our nation and people. This, is possible with mature, passionate and committed leadership that understands and appreciates the demands of time, determined to restore, build, consolidate respect and competence in leadership and our national institutions. This, I sincerely believe.

Therefore, I'd implore all citizens to continue to engage and disagree where possible, on ways and means to getting the Gambia on a better progressive pedestal that when tested against all respectable human, socioeconomic development indexes will pass. We just have to make sure there's no disagreement on the obvious that we all want a better Gambia.
At the United Democratic Party, this is the constant, consistent message from the leadership and within. The Party and leadership are not perfect by any means. No human breathing is. But you can bet that our commitment and belief in project Gambia which is to enhance and advance the future of our most variable prospect [the Youths] and assure of Economic wellness, is UNMATCHED. We believe have the best Solutions. Do NOT take my word for it. If you are Unaffiliated or even belong to another Party, with open mind give us a try. Engage, question and interrogate what we promise we will do for our country when given mandate. I'm sharing some of the programs here. Read it. And NEVER missed an opportunity to challenge the Leadership on this.
For instance, 'Mr. Darboe, UDP had 3 members Cabinet for two years, 6 Municipalities/Area Councils. What have you done in your respective offices that should make us entrust the UDP with mandate?' will elevate our national discourse higher than 'some people say the UDP is a Mandinka party. What do you say about that?'
Time is upon us for serious conversations and not click-bait entrapments.
